Better conversations, one update at a time.

  1. Version 2026.10.01.12 · Meet 0.19.8Local pilot

    Google Meet beta

All your languages, in your meeting.

Choose from all 25 SayWordy language and regional options for either person. Your choice carries through translated speech, camera captions and saved transcripts.

    • Both language menus include the native names and regional choices.
    • A normal speech-stream shutdown no longer reports a connection failure when finishing your last sentence.
    • Your language and voice choices stay saved for your next meeting.

Hosted Google Meet beta. Update the extension and reload Meet before your next call. Language quality still benefits from real conversation testing.

  2. Version 2026.10.01.11Local pilot

    Personal numbers

Choose your calling language by voice.

Call your SayWordy number, say your PIN, then say “Set my language to Mandarin.” Confirm your choice to save it for future calls.

    • Callers are translated into your saved hearing language. Your choice also applies when the assistant calls a contact for you.
    • Change your language again by voice or in Contacts & number.
    • Number searches with no matches now show a clear empty result and keep your chosen area code.

Personal-number pilot. Requires an assigned, enabled number and a calling PIN. A real-phone check is still pending.

  3. Version 2026.10.01.10 · Meet 0.19.7Local pilot

    Google Meet beta

    Keep camera captions connected.

The extension recovers a camera connection that could leave the SayWordy logo and translated captions missing from outgoing video.

    • The sidebar shows the outgoing caption language and gives a recovery step when camera captions cannot connect.
    • A local receiving-browser test confirmed the logo and translated captions on the repaired camera path.
    • Camera recovery uses your existing video without opening another camera capture.

Hosted Google Meet beta. Update the extension and reload Meet before your next call. A fresh receiving-participant check is still pending.

  4. Version 2026.10.01.9 · Meet 0.19.6Local pilot

    Google Meet beta

    Clearer credits. Easier testing.

Your Meet page shows the beta credits you can use, and approved testing accounts keep their recording acknowledgment between sessions.

    • Available beta credits appear as the main meeting balance while purchases are unavailable.
    • Designated testing accounts can restart translation without repeating their saved recording acknowledgment.
    • Story captions sit closer to their photos on desktop and mobile.

Available on the website and in the hosted Google Meet beta download. Update the extension after your meeting for the saved testing acknowledgment.

  5. Version 2026.10.01.8 · Meet 0.19.5Local pilot

    Google Meet beta

    One familiar sign-in.

The extension opens the regular SayWordy login and connects automatically when you finish.

    • An existing SayWordy session connects without another Connect button. Google, passkey and email sign-in remain available.
    • Email links opened in another tab also complete the waiting sign-in window in the same Chrome profile.
    • Meet setup buttons have more space, call-history Refresh lines up with its heading, and footer privacy links share one text size.

Available on the website and in the hosted Google Meet beta download. Update the extension after your meeting for the new sign-in flow.

    Contacts and numbers

    Clean up contacts before importing.

See which entries need attention, correct missing details and read phone numbers in familiar formats.

    • Missing names, missing numbers, invalid numbers, extensions and duplicates each get a clear reason and a correction option.
    • Valid contacts beyond the address-book limit stay in the preview. Search the list and choose which ones to save.
    • Download the cleaned contacts or a cleanup report. Existing saved names and language preferences are preserved.
    • US numbers display as (212) 555-2671. International numbers keep their country code with readable spacing, including in exported reports.

Cleanup is available for Google, CSV and vCard imports. The address book supports 1,000 saved contacts.

  7. Version 2026.10.01.3 · Meet 0.19.1Local pilot

    Phone and Meet beta

Speak your PIN. Connect Meet without a local helper.

Verify your receiving phone in Contacts, choose a 4–8 digit calling PIN, and download the hosted Meet beta from your account.

    • Say your calling PIN one digit at a time when calling your own SayWordy number. A chime confirms it before the assistant opens your contacts.
    • The hosted extension connects to SayWordy online without a Terminal helper. Setup instructions are included on the Meet account page.
    • Consented hosted recordings stay private for administrator review and receive automatic transcription analysis with word timestamps and confidence.
    • Live synthetic English–Spanish tests confirmed recognition, translated speech, recording and analysis in both directions. Handset and participant tests are the next acceptance step.

Hosted trials are open by invitation. Real-phone and two-person Meet acceptance are still pending. Paid purchases remain disabled.

  8. Version 2026.10.01Local pilot

    Personal phone beta

Save your contacts. Ask SayWordy who to call.

Choose your hearing language, save contact names and nicknames, and prepare your personal SayWordy number.

    • The prepared calling assistant verifies your calling PIN, greets you by name, and confirms a saved contact before dialing.
    • Call history includes your spoken request and confirmation, dialing, answer, and end times.
    • Incoming calls can use a contact’s saved language or automatic recognition while you hear your preferred language.
    • The prepared voicemail flow asks for a message and confirmation before sending; an unconfirmed mailbox leaves a saved draft.

Contact settings and number requests are available. Personal calling needs a dedicated number, verified receiving phone, and live call verification before activation.

  9. Version 0.19.0Local pilot

    Google Meet beta

Your Meet beta, in one place.

Sign in, redeem a private invite and view your meeting credits. This build also prepares hosted translation and private quality review.

    • Invite trials include 300 credits, covering 10 minutes at the prepared Meet rate of 30 credits (US$0.30) per active minute.
    • The prepared purchase flow offers 1,000 meeting credits for US$10 and confirms payment with the server before showing a new balance.
    • Administrators can create and revoke invites, review private recordings, and request transcription analysis with word timestamps and confidence.
    • Hosted sessions require explicit beta recording consent. A connection failure pauses outgoing audio until you restart or press Stop translation.

Saved pilot build. Hosted translation and purchases stay unavailable until service setup and live verification are complete.
